Friday, May 30, 2008: Play Poker for Progeria
Join us on Friday night, May 30th, for a fun night of Texas Hold 'em Poker, silent auction, food, drinks, Red Sox tickets and 50/50 raffles and lots more in PRF's home town of Peabody, MA. It's $100 to play poker, $25 if you want to just come enjoy a night out, and $100 to sponsor a table -- such a DEAL!
If we have the 150 players we expect, first prize will be $4,000!
Back by popular demand is our "Pocketbooks for Progeria" Auction. Attendees can choose from several designer purses, and the lucky high bidders then open them to see what's inside: lottery tickets, prizes, and/or up to $500 cash - WOW!
Click here to buy tickets or become a sponsor.
Sincerely,
Audrey Gordon, Executive Director

Delivering a sailboat to Mobjack on the Chesapeake
Four of us moved a sailboat to a friend’s marina (in his backyard) in Mobjack Va from a marina upstream on the Chesapeake. The owner of this recently purchased used boat was up in Marblehead MA unable to moderate the extreme tactics of his volunteer crew. Initially the winds were light but then came up for an exciting sail. Larry, all people and equipment arrived relatively intact. Enjoy your new boat.
